MAKATI, Philippines – The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) proudly celebrates the latest achievement of Angelo Kairos dela Cruz, a student in the Asian Institute of Management’s Executive Master in Disaster Risk and Crisis Management (EMDRCM) program, Cohort 2024. 

Kairos has been selected to serve as an observer on the Strategic Climate Fund (SCF) Trust Fund Committee, operating under the Climate Investment Funds (CIF). He will represent Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Asia and the Pacific within the Pilot Program for Climate Resilience (PPCR) technical committee from November 2023 to December 2024. 

Kairos’s appointment is a testament to his unwavering dedication and expertise in the field of climate resilience and crisis management. His prior service as an SCF Civil Society Organization Observer for Asia and the Pacific, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia from 2021 to 2023 underscores his commitment to addressing global climate challenges. 

As an AIM student, Kairos exemplifies the values of leadership and excellence that AIM instills in its students. AIM’s Executive Master in Disaster Risk and Crisis Management program is designed for professionals like Kairos. It is led by world-class practitioners with practical experience and deep expertise in both the theoretical and practical aspects of DRCM, covering fields such as crisis and humanitarian emergency management, organizational resilience, community resilience during disasters, and sustainable development. The comprehensive program spans 18 months, structured over six terms, and is tailored specifically for DRCM professionals, enabling them to balance their current commitments while enriching their knowledge and expertise.
